Our 600 Thread Count California King Waterbed Sheet Sets are made from 100% Egyptian Cotton, giving the sheets a silky smooth feel. These sheets work great on wood frame waterbeds. Nile River Valley Cotton is not regular cotton. This plant has the longest fiber in the cotton realm. What that means is that there are few “overlaps”, producing a softer fabric (less bumps where threads overlap). There are good reasons why these kind of sheets are found in world class hotels.

Sheets are not attached at the foot. Instead they have an elastic band all around the bottom to keep the sheet fitting snugly all the time. No bare spots, as with attached sheets which often "ride up".  Also note that Cal King Waterbed Sheets are 4 inches narrower and 4 inches longer than a regular (Eastern) King bed.

Fits on King Wood Frame Waterbeds

These work great on wood frame waterbeds. One of the most common complaints about waterbed sheets that are only pocketed on the corners is that the sides of the sheets tend to come up and expose the vinyl mattress. With California King "Fitted" sheets there is always plenty of sheet to reach the bottom of the mattress. The elastic band also keeps the sheets from "riding up".    At first the sheets and pillow covers seemed very nice and I was quite happy. But after only a couple of days I started noticing tiny splits in the sheets. Then a huge 6 inch tear appeared in a pillow case. I can’t believe my 2 week old sheets are now complete junk.

   As I wrote before, wasn’t happy they wasn’t sewed at the foot, I went back and read the description again and it said they wasn’t going to be, oh well I should read better. They DO FIT properly, and do stay tucked in so I guess they don’t have to be sewed at the foot. I little harder to make the bed, but then once it’s done, it’s done. they are comfortable and has a nice feel to them, I will be ordering more… Lynn
